Originally from Belen, NM, Dr. Adams moved to Albuquerque after completing high school at the New Mexico Military Institute. After graduation, she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico with a BS in Biology.
She could have gone anywhere to practice dentistry, but Dr. Adams chose to stay in Albuquerque and provide the high-quality dentistry she knows her neighbors deserve.
Dr. Adams treats patients of all ages, from infants to their great-grandparents and everyone in between. Her greatest career goal is to guide generations of families, providing lifetimes of optimal oral health and beautiful smiles.

This was my first time at Peak Family Dentistry. The office was clean. Dr. Adams and her entire staff were very friendly, professional and welcoming. Dr. Adams and her assistant Adriana did a very thorough exam in regards to my TMJ, Sleep Apnea and Dental needs. They were very patient. I left the office feeling good and will return in a few weeks. I am very happy that I found a dentist that is compassionate and knowledgeable.

I had a pleasant experience during my visit at Peak Family Dentistry. Cheryl was very nice and professional in preparing me for my evaluation. Dr. Billie Adams was kind and professional as well. Dr. Adams earned a prestigious Fellowship from The International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She attained this great honor by submitting 20 successful implant cases for evaluation and completing 100+ hours of implant education over a five-year span.
She maintained her Fellowship status by completing an additional 100+ hours of approved implant education in the five years after it was awarded.
She has also earned a Dental Implant Fellowship from the Rocky Mountain Dental Institute.

Community Service
Dr. Adams believes it is part of her responsibility to give back to her community as often as she is able. Annually, she participates in the Mission of Mercy and New Mexico Donated Dental Services, offering free dental care to patients in need. She also gives back to her community by being an active member of the Rotary Club Albuquerque Del Norte since 2012.
Outside the Office
Our dentist takes great joy in serving the community she loves. When not volunteering or practicing dentistry, Dr. Adams lives an active life with her husband, two boys, and their family dog. All are from New Mexico and are very happy to be living life here!
A Special Focus on Airway Dentistry
One of Dr. Adams' specialty focuses is airway dentistry. This type of dentistry focuses on the hard and soft tissue structures of the orofacial complex that support a patient's ability to breathe well.
Her journey into airway dentistry first began by working with adult patients who suffer from sleep disorders like obstructive sleep apnea. Not long after, she extended her training and knowledge to better treat pediatric patients who can benefit from airway dentistry.

I had an old crown removed and a new one put in yesterday. It was truly a painless experience. I was concerned that the procedure would be anywhere between very uncomfortable and quite painful. There was no pain, and very little discomfort. The tooth, a front tooth, looks perfectly natural. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Adams and this practice. I’ve been a Dr. Adams patient for years getting cleanings and the occasional filling, and now I’m really committed to patronize this practice for years to come! I’m a very happy customer!

I had a great experience on my first appointment at Peak Family Dentistry. From the receptionist who made me feel at home. The dental hygienist was great from a thorough dental exam to the dental cleaning. She explained and asked questions about my oral hygiene. The dentist was also exceptional during her exam. Glad I chose this dental office.
