View on GoogleThe office was clean, the staff were very welcoming. It didn’t feel like a dentist office. I felt very comfortable. Doctor Adams and her assistant were great with me . I got treated very well, she went over everything with me and there was no rush . Over all I am glad I switch dentists because I had a better experience with her than my last dentist.

If you decide you want to realign your teeth with a series of clear trays, you can request a consultation with Invisalign and SureSmile provider Dr. Adams in Albuquerque, NM.
The dental treatment will include these steps:
Your aligners are safe enough to be worn while you sleep and easy enough to remove when you eat. Clean your aligners once a day by soaking them in a cleaning solution or using a toothbrush, toothpaste, and warm water.
For the fastest results, wear your clear trays for 20 to 22 hours each day. Keeping the aligners in for a shorter period of time each day can ultimately delay your treatment and may even require you to start over from the beginning.
Retaining Your Results
It's common to wear a retainer after undergoing orthodontic care with traditional braces, Invisalign, or SureSmile. A retainer is a custom-made device that maintains the new position of your teeth. If a retainer isn't worn following orthodontic care, your teeth may return to their original position, necessitating additional orthodontic treatment.
How often and how long each patient should wear their retainer is different, but your orthodontist or dentist will give you instructions on how you can maintain your results.
Peak Family Dentistry is currently offering a free retainer with a paid clear aligner case.
What Can Clear Aligners Do That Braces Can't?
Traditional braces are made up of brackets and wires that can be uncomfortable. They're also noticeable and can lead to feelings of embarrassment, especially in older teens and adults.
With Invisalign and SureSmile aligners, you can discreetly straighten your teeth without feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed. Unlike braces, clear aligner trays can be removed, making oral hygiene and cleaning easier. You can also remove the aligners when you eat or when attending an important event.
Don't I Need an Orthodontist for Orthodontic Treatment?
Aligner trays like SureSmile and Invisalign don't require a trip to the orthodontist! Because aligners treat mild to moderate misalignment, a general dentist is more than capable of administering treatment. However, severe cases of malocclusion will likely require braces and an orthodontist to provide them.
