She does not prescribe continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines, but if they are the best way to meet your child's immediate needs, she can work with other physicians to provide one for your child. Frenectomy

This procedure, also called tongue-tie release, involves incising bands of tissue below the tongue or between the lips and gums to achieve proper freedom of movement and unobstructed breathing. Dr. Adams uses the CO2 LightScalpel® laser to perform frenectomy with no need for sutures or scalpels, minimized risks, and expedited healing.

Palatal Expansion

A narrow upper jaw can cause OSA symptoms. Maxillary-assisted rapid palatal expansion (MARPE) by Dr. Adams can make room for the tongue so it can rest in the proper position, keeping the airways open. This solution can also foster proper balance and proportion in facial development.

Custom Oral Appliances

A custom mouthpiece may be necessary to keep your child's airways open during sleep while they undergo treatment to achieve more permanent changes. These are designed for comfort to help your child get the quality rest they need.
